Happy Birthday to you!
It's hard to believe that you turned 3 today. You are such a big girl now! You love to do everything on your own but every now and then, you let us help :) Your vocabulary has just blossomed, you are enjoying your school and friends, you are a great helper around the house. You love anything that has to do with puppies. You love Bolt, Horton Hears a Who, and especially Wow Wow Wubbzy! You wake up singing "wow, wow wubbzy...wubbzy wubbzy wow wow!" You love riding your spring rocking horse. We keep waiting for you to fly off of it, but you hold on for dear life. You enjoy coloring, painting, playing with playdoh & stickers...I have a feeling you've got some creative genes in you. One of your favorite things right now are owls. Not sure how that happened...but it's all about owls right now. Your room. Your clothes. Your backpack. Your books. All owls.
Some of your favorite foods right now are: yogurt, cheese, macaroni & cheese, salami, blueberries, strawberries, peaches, blackberries, goldfish crackers, fruit snacks (which you call Doras), and oatmeal. You are such a great eater! We are thankful for that. You are always willing to try anything at least once...and you usually like it. You're a better eater than your momma for sure! Daddy's so proud :)
You make us laugh every day! You are such a funny little girl. You find joy in the smallest things and still feel unsure about sudden changes. You like your routine - you are a creature of habit. You have an amazing memory - I'm always shocked at the things that you can remember.
You continue to stretch us as parents - with lessons in patience, understanding and compassion. We are so thankful for this past year to see you grow and can't wait to see what the Terrific Three's are going to be like with you :)

eeeekkk... maggie joy... i had full intentions on sending you a fun, animated e-card and everything- had a reminder written about it and everything... and then... wellllll... life... [sigh].
HAPPY BIRTHDAY sweet maggie joy. 3 years old... wow. keep it up momma and daddy... she is blossoming so much and is so blessed to be so very loved.
