Orientation Meeting

Many of you have emailed me about the orientation meeting we were supposed to attend on Monday night. Well, it turned out that this orientation meeting were for foster care parents only. The foster-to-adopt/adoption orientation isn't until this coming Monday, the 19th. So, we will be sure to let you know how it goes.

It already seems to be a slow process....and I guess that's because it took so long for another orientation to come up on the schedule. We're hoping that things progress fairly quickly, once we get into the system and start taking our required classes. We are required to take over 30 hours of training before we are officially available. A friend did tell me that they were able to do their training over a long weekend, versus a couple of hours here and there. We hope that this will be something we can do as well.

On another note, our house is officially a wreck; boxes everywhere; Chopper confused! We plan to attack the garage this weekend ~ oh joy! Just 14 days until we move.....
