Thanksgiving

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving on the day after Thanksgiving ~ this gave my siblings the chance to spend the day with their spouse's families. We all met over at my parents' house...all 20 of us. We certainly know how to fill a room!

All 7 of the cousins had plenty of fun together. It was a beautiful day, so they spent lots of time outside (which is a good thing on many counts). We had plenty of food, lots of laughter, a few tears and fights broken up between the kids, but it wouldn't be a gathering without any of those things.

We have so much to be thankful for this year. Our health, our family, our friends and the goodness of our Lord & Savior. May we always remember how much we are to be thankful for, everyday...not just on Thanksgiving.

At the park with friends

Oh how Maggie loves to be outside and going to the park....so, when we had yet another amazing fall day, we invited our little friends to join us at a new park (to us anyway). 2 mommas and 5 kiddos at the park - that's just the perfect recipe for fun!

It's been so neat to see the older 3 become real friends over the past few months. They've always played along side each other, but now they're really enjoying each other...making each other laugh and just being silly. So fun to see their friendships develop at this young age.

It's also nice that their mommas are such good friends too :)

Pumpkin Patch

We woke up one morning and just decided to head out to the Pumpkin Patch. I dressed Maggie for fall, being that is the season...right?! However, it quickly hit 80+ degrees and we were sweating. Despite that, we still managed to have a wonderful time, exploring and climbing all the pumpkins, riding the train around the area to see all the growing Christmas trees, and just running and playing around.

Maybe next year will be cooler...oh well, one can only hope!
